I get it...this is one of the steps, not the finished product! I still like it! I am excited to learn from Gary, but I would like to see how yours turns out with the different medium.
I get it now...this is just one of the steps. I am looking forward to seeing how it turns out with the Chinese sumi ink. I am excited to learn from Gary, as well!! (I still like the painting, though.)
Fantastic! I love those fish over the floating squares. Great color choices too!
Well I had to start over again and repainted the whole thing out. I wasn't happy with the stencil I used for one of the other steps. I covered too much of the painting with it and I lost the fish under it. The fish are the focal point so I don't want to hide them, just a little maybe! I'll be working on this again soon and will share pics.
I love this! living in Japan as a teen I love anything with Koi. Looking forward to seeing your non-smelly bitumen technique :O)
