This first t-shirt with the word Salon on it, was a panel of samari who were both in love with the same woman which was the story told using the letter beads around the neckline. Again I used some hand-dyed shibori silk over stamped with asian lettering as the circle background and lettering for "Asian Art".

This t-shirt was one of several that I had made using Asian images. This particular image reminded me of the Mona Lisa and therefore got the title of "Alter Ego". The shibori silk was hand dyed and I had only a few scraps left, so I made the lettering & corner squares to use up the leftovers. Now that it is summer again, I really should find the time to make some more of this shibori technique.
