Alchemy and Mysticism ATC's

I just finished these ATC's titled: Alchemy and Mysticism-Jan.'07 They were very fast and easy to do. I started by collaging black and white prints of anything related to alchemy or mysticism, which I made several copies of. I cut the prints to ATC size and hand-water colored each piece, and aged them using various ink pads and polyester fiber batting, to get a smooth finish that looks like old parchment.

that looks cool. Was this something you were starting when you were in Denver? I am curious to see the whole ATC when it is completed.

ATC's are only 2 1/2" X 3 1/2" so these are two ATC's pictured here. The collaged images I used were maybe 6" X 8", which I cut up to make the ATC's. I was working on a Halloween altered book while I was in Denver, but not able to post that here, since I am submitting it to Somerset's new Magazine. Thanks Bryon for checking out the blog. It was really easy to set up! Love, Mom
