A New Blog

I've decided to create a blog for a new adventure exploring water media, which has unlimited options and I didn't want to bore everyone by posting all the time about this one topic.  Over the past few months I have been so engrossed in this new love that I've spent 90% of my waking hours learning more about water media, i.e. watercolors.   I've read every single book and magazine I could get my hands on, watched a ton of youtube videos and now I am ready to branch out.   I want to include my true loves, all water mixed media and I would like to invite you to join me.   You can participate by leaving comments, posting links to your own work and of course, share your own knowledge.  For a more detailed description of what I am proposing, visit this new BLOG.
And I started a Facebook group.  Please come and join me HERE.

Halloween-Day 4

I used this image a couple of years ago in an altered Halloween book that was published in one of Somerset's many magazines.  There's a blog post about that Halloween altered book here, somewhere.  I used humor as the basis for this little chipboard book and I found this image to be quite laughable when paired with a wizard who couldn't remember the spell he had cast on his wife so he could undo it.  I could image how the wife would react once the spell was removed.  LOL!

Halloween Public Domain Images-Day Three

This is one of my favorite posters because this can be digitally taken apart and the multiple sets of eyes can be used in a variety of digital montages.  Also the color on this poster is fabulous!  Enjoy!

Halloween Public Domain Freebies-Day One & Two

I love the feel of fall in the air, it lets us know that some cooler nights and days are approaching, that the trees will be dropping their leaves and snow will fly soon.  Soon we will be setting our clocks back for Day Light Savings Time and taking our children or grandchildren to the pumpkin patch, maybe our spouse to the Haunted House.  If you haven't dragged out your Harvest or Halloween home decorations better hurry because it will be here before you know it.  I totally forgot about my Autumn wreath for the front door that I need to go hang up!  Anyway, this year I wanted to celebrate this special time of year with all my blog followers and to do that, I have decided to offer some Halloween related public domain images for you to download.  Please feel free to right click these images for a new larger image to right click and save.  These are some old posters that I slightly digitally altered or repaired for you.  Enjoy!
