New Addition to my Family

Meet Ashton Ray-born: April 17th! He was 7 weeks early and he's a very lucky little boy. He is doing remarkably well and is managing to breathe all on his own now. He weighed in at 3 lbs. 15 oz. and is 16" tall already! :-D His Momma is doing very well and is back at home recovering from an emergency delivery.
Ashton is my 8th grandchild all under the age of 6! Wow! What a handful! :-D

    Oh my gosh Cindy. Only 3 lbs+ which is really tiny.

    I pray he does well and his mommy recovers quickly so she can care for him.

    What a lucky grandma and grandpa -- 8 grandchildren.

    Now there is a precious pkg. I had a preemie many years ago-My Mikey that weighed 3# 8 oz and was 18 inches long. Lucky you to have this beautiful little person in your life.

    Wow! Congrats! Having been married to a pediatric surgeon, breathing on his own is quite a feat. I wish him continued good health and growth. I know what a strain this can put on everybody! He looks wonderful and you are all so lucky!
