Just Playing with Digital Filters

I recently re-visited a blog that hosts weekly digital challenges called:
Collage Obsession
Each week there is a new image posted and you get to play around with it. This week it was this vintage image of an Asian Advertisement.



Using ColorFX filters, some various extraction methods, altering the colors and layering images I created multiple versions of altered layouts but this version was my favorite.



Here is one more layout, that I took a step further and used solarization filters, cropped the image and this is what I got: I'm really not too sure if I like this-it might have to grow on me alittle. It does have some interesting texture happening.
